Animal and moral.

The Australian Government is troublesome, i thought, everytime when i was declaring my food to the customs inspection.

They do not allow any product with E-G-G(!!!) imported into Australia, not even dried food, pet food and many other stuffs. (i hate John Howard especially when the they reject and send my birthday present back to Hong Kong, with the reason of: protecting the natural environment of Australia!!!!!!!!!WTF!) Because of this, Australia has become the strictest country of import and export of animal (pet, i assume). The breeders as well as the pet shops here are moral and responsible! (at least moraler than those in my country).

However, i’ve discovered that there are still some disvergences between one pet shop and another.

- Two pet shops, two different ways of treating their animals.

my friend is bored living herself, so she went to a pet shop and asked for a 30dollar geniue pig. The staff asked a couple of questions, and rejected to sell her the pet, unless she can show evidences of well preparations for a geniue pig to live in a comfortable environment.

so, she went to another one. and there, she saw a bunny. she brought it straight away without food or cage or anything. the staff cant be bothered to provide any information of keeping a rabbit.

and now, the rabbit is placed in a paper box.

my friend hates it. she regrets. she has no idea how to keep a rabbit. and she dont even want to give it a name (i name it rabbit). no cage, no food (but cat food), and no space to move. the rabbit rabbit is so scared that it cant even jump probably (i assume that becos it has no chance to practice jumping when living in a small box). pity animal.

now i understand.

good job, Pets On Broadway. good job, Australia’s customs.
